hi,
I am working on abaqus/cae 6.2 with tet and hex element. I have many warnings in the dat file telling me :
NODE 901 ON SURFACE ASSEMBLY_CONTACTHAUT HAS FACETS WITH NORMAL VECTORS DIFFERING BY MORE THAN 30 DEGREES. CONVERGENCE DIFFICULTIES MAY OCCUR AT THIS NODE WITH FINITE-SLIDING CONTACT. THE NORMAL CONTACT DIRECTION AT THIS NODE WILL BE (5.03747E-18,-0.30937,0.95094).
Then in abaqus viewer, I can see many nodes with incorrect normal. I want to see S11 and the maximum and the minimum of S11 are on the same node. What can I think about these results? is it a mesh problem?
I have tried to have smaller element everywhere but in this case no convergence for the model.
Thanks for your help.
