Hi

We are looking for the mesh wraps and outer steel band wraps to install on hydraulic connections like elbows, Tees on our turbine. Operating pressure is 140 bar temperature 50 deg C.
The purpose is to prevent fire in case of oil leakage under pressure on hot turbine parts.
Do you know suppliers for this pressure rating? Up to now we have got suppliers for lesser pressure around 55 bar. Please see attached some pictures. Thanks

I can understand the issue, but at 140 bar, I don't think anything is going to stop oil from squirting out in the case of failure.

Sounds more like if you're that worried you need some solid piping somewhere with a bit of flexibility built in.

The idea of these types of shields is to prevent the oil from spraying on to nearby hot surfaces, not so much containment. They're more of a deflector. They're also required in some situations such as marine so they're really isn't a choice about whether or not to use them.
