Meshed Beam Cross Sections

Hi all

I am trying to model a composite beam with multiple different material layers using Abaqus. I have identified the meshed beam cross section as the appropriate method but Abaqus provides very little documentation on how exactly to use this method.

Any link to tutorials or help on this method would be greatly appreciated.
