Metal floor deck attachment to bar joists

I have searched thread titles and do not seem to find an answer to what I think is a simple question. I have specified a 1.5" composite metal deck for a floor assembly and the deck supplier came back with questions such as support pattern for 5/8" welds, spacing at perimeter supports and sidelap fasteners per span. I have chosen a 36/4 pattern for perpendicular to supports, but is there a typical spacing between supports (5/8" weld) and sidelap (#10 TEK) per span? Thanks.

Generally speaking that fastener spacing, both main support and sidelap, are a function of your diaphragm requirements.

If you take a look at the manufacturer's information they have the capacities listed for different fastener spacings.

For low load diaphragms, we specify the welds for a 36/4 pattern at supports and button-punched or screwed sidelaps at 24" o/c.
