Metal Washing Requirement DS/ISO 209R 1

Hello, I am having difficulty understanding a specification. This is a machined metal part.

The washing requirement is:

Max. 4mg/dm2 according to DS/ISO 209R (modified)
The amount of polar and unpolar compounds must be registered
The washing process must not contain any oils or diethanolamine.

1) I have been unable to determine what DS/ISO 209R (modified) means?
2) "Max. 4mg/dm2", what does that mean?
3) "Polar and unpolar compounds" meaning?

I am not sure what DS/ISO 209R is. ISO is the International Organization for Standardization:

DIS is a Draft International Standard - one that has not been approved yet. Maybe that is what the DS is supposed to be.

ISO used to publish reports, which had an R in the designation. I haven't seen that for a long time.

The requirement for 4 mg/dm² is giving you a total mass per surface area.

Polar and unpolar (usually nonpolar) refers to chemical bonding. Water, alcohols, and salts are polar, while greases and oils are nonpolar. Usually, you need different cleaning agents to clean each type, because "like dissolves like".
