Does anyone have any suggestions on how to heat a 50 gal reservoir of fuel? It needs to go from room temp (which can be cold in the winter) to around 75 so no high temps. Would like it to be fairly simple...possbily even a heating blanket but it might not fit around the tank right as I need to view the gauges, etc. Any ideas??

drusilla, Energy source steam or electric, use heater bands with temp. control and don't forget to insulate.

Hope this helps.

Couldn't I just heat it up and then turn it off when it's up to the right temp? The motors running fuel through it will keep it heated after it reaches its initial temp. Know of any good manufacturers?

What kind of fuel are you heating? If the engine only runs periodically it may be helpful to put some sort of thermostat in your tank to maintain your desired temperature, with out too much labor.

Can U heat it -- at least partially -- with the waste
heat ?
