I'm searching for a DIN (or ISO, CEN) standard for 12-point flange bolts that will fit into a standard counter-bore hole for socket head capscrews ala SAE J58 (IFI-115). The only hits I've come across using Google, are of the wide flange variety.

I know these are sold, but I can't find a metric standard declared anywhere. I'm wondering if these are bastards (metric threads with an SAE head).

Call any of the fastener companies (Infastech, ATF, Seblex, Specialty, etc) and they will have no problem making those for you. Trying to find them on the shelf will be tough; that is not a common head style.

They may be off the shelf in Europe, though not likely, under the standard DIN LN 65101.

Thank you both for your input.

Finding an off the shelf item was indeed the goal as we don't deal in massive quantities, and our customers often ask for odd materials to boot (HC276, Monel, etc).

I think I'll push for normal socket head bolts if they'll stand up to the torque.

Socket heads should handle the torque but be careful of the underhead contact stress. The small contact area on SHC can lead to embedment on softer material, so you may have to add a hardened washer.
