Hi there

I wondered if anyone here could recommend a good MGPS manufacturer. I need one that are effective against macro and micro marine fouling. Any recommendations are welcome.

thanks

Chief,
Are you concerned with just muscles/barnacles and the like, or sea grass as well?

We have MGCC aluminum and copper anodes, and it won't do anything for sea grasses, so like most of the cruise industry we are moving to an alternative system.

The system we have now is US Filters, aluminum and copper anodes. The copper ions prevent hard marine growth, but does nothing for soft growth such as grasses. The aluminum anodes provides corrosion protection from the copper ions.

We looked at Drewsperse injection system as an alternative, but the environmental imact was too great for us. We are probably going with chloropac, which should protect from hard and soft growth and get us away from the 5 year anode replacement we have now.

The chloropac seems to be what I need. Takes care of it all and don't create any polution.

thanks
