Hi All,

I'm looking to add a micro meter note and I can't seem to find a micro symbol to insert in the note? Does solid works have a greek symbol library?

Here's one for you to copy-and-paste.

So much for the copy-and-paste. It turned into a question mark.

Anyhoo... Try using Windows "Character Map" utility. On my Windows XP it's under Start --> Programs --> Accessories --> System Tools --> Character Map.

Thanks for the quick response people!

No need for a special symbol. Assuming you are using the SW default font Century Gothic, hold down "Alt" and type 0181 on the numeric keypad. Note that this doesn't work with the row of numbers above the letters, only the numeric keypad.

The ALT codes are a quick method. A drawback is that they can very different that expected or even be absent with many fonts, particularing in the area of the greek alphabet. However, if you are using Arial or Century Goth, you should be ok.
