Hi
I'm modelling the abutments of an integrated concrete bridge in Midas Civil which are sloped at approximately 2 degrees. When I apply earth pressure behind the abutments the reference level that the user selects is assumed to be flat/horizontal. As a result if I were to choose the higher end of the abutment as my reference level then the lower end will receive additional earth pressure loads and vice versa.
Has anyone come across this issue before and found a solution?
Regards
Cian
