Hello out there, we are currently in the startup for a new production unit in China.
For the NC-programming of our machines we use UG-NX2 with dedicated postprocessors for milling, turning and mill/turn [TCL]
Could anyone tell me how the UG setup for a mill-turn has to look like [MCS/GEO/OPERATIONS]. Waiting for helpfull tips, thanks in advance

Well I know your MCS will need to be set for the centerline of the part you will be doing on the mill-turn.

The z axis will be laid out like you are standing in front of the lathe, z will face across your body. x will probably toward and away from you and the y will be up and down.
Z plus will face towards what will be the front of the part you will be machining.

Your turning ops should be straight forward and your milling ops, if your post is set up correctly will handle the part orientations.
