Minimum Yield Strength for "tensile strength class 10" nut = ?

I've got in my notes:
The strength class of the nut should correspond to the first number of the strength class of the bolt.

I've also seen lots of bolt/nut tables (amongst others in manufacturer's catalogues) that support this.

I'm sorry but I can't find any reference though...
 
BS4190 Table 9 gives recommended bolt and nut combinations. For a grade 10.9 bolt, a grade 10 or a grade 12 nut is recommended.
 
Table 4 in BS3692 also gives bolt and nut combinations.

BS4190 is for ordinary black bolts

BS3692 is for precision bolts
