Hi all,

Is there a way that when i mirror, lets say a detail of a section of an assembly that i drew, that i can have the text preserve its justification? when i mirror the detail the text goes from left to right justified, and i dont want that to happen. I checked the system variables and i know about the mirrtext but is there something that i am missing? Thanks in advance.

Mitsu50,

I think You mean mtext. I don't know how to suppress the mirroring of the justification, but You can change it in the properties box and the mtext wouldn't "jump". Which Acad-version are You running?

Hi,
I thought, you can change the justificatin in the properties-box, but the mtext would move ("jump"). I don't know how to preserve the left justify.
You can use the command "tjust" from the Express Tools.

Text Justify TJUST
Text Justify allows you to change the justification of text, mtext, and attribute text without changing the location of the annotation.

yeah the text does jump, ie mirror like its supposed to. i dont think there is a way to avoid this other than not mirroring the text and just copying it to the mirrored detail. Thanks or the help though.
