Hello all,
When I checked the Material Test Report (MTR) of the material (SA-515) owned by the inventory manufacturer, there was no M in the grade notation.
However, all records are in SI units.
Is this mismatch allowed as ASME Code? Can I use it for a pressure vessel?
Your help will be much appreciated.
Supplement: Example of description
Material name: SA-515 Grade 70 (not M) <--- US unit
Yield strength: 380 MPa <--- SI unit
