All. We are looking to switch from Insight/Design manager to Teamcenter. We have many assemblies that have lost links to files over the years. Will this be a problem when importing current database into Teamcenter?

Most systems simply create a large report of missing items and refuse to add the items until those failures are fixed because most PDM systems are intended to not retain or promote errors. A competent administrator can force-feed those failed item in but it's not recommended.

That was our assumption as well. We have created a program that is running behind the scenes to repair every lost link before TC integration.

Sorry for the late reply... SE ships with a Data Preparation utility that can help identify and fix broken links as well as populate file properties.
