Jun 13, 2009 #1 maurelius Electrical Oct 15, 2008 27 0 0 GB After a crash, SolidEdge v18 now refuses to show the window that displays after you use the inspect menu to measure distance, angle etc... I have tried re-installing and the latest SP but nothing can get the window back. Anyone had this before? Thanks

Jun 13, 2009 #2 donyoung Mechanical Oct 8, 2005 1,018 0 0 DE Hi, usually deinstall/reinstall will leave the registry untouched and thus everything is unchanged. To get the window back you can try to delete this key (only this) SE must not be active: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unigraphics Solutions\Solid Edge\Version xx\Part\MeasureDlg xx = your SE version. If that does not help you can delete the whole key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unigraphics Solutions\Solid Edge\Version xx thereby loosing all your settings. SE will recreate the key upon start. Now that all is working as it should it's time to export the whole registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unigraphics Solutions\Solid Edge\Version xx to a save place.
