I know this is old thread but I am new to forum and could not pass this up. I own a Mits. 3015LVPLUS and this thing is bullet proof !! There is no glass tubes to clean and there are no expensive blowers to replace. the design of this resonator is awesome. there is no 15k to 20k rebuild and the laser gas consumption is the lowest in the industry. I have done all the costing after running this for two years now and this thing is dirt cheap to run. We run 24/7 lights out no problem.

We have the same machine you do. When you are running light out do you have any problems with slug build up? We have tried it before, but slugs build up, then the sheet doesn't sit flat, parts tip up causing big problems! Any suggestions?

If you are still running the original design slats that came with your laser then yes you will have slug issues, We use a dif. design that eliminated that problem. I only have a slug problem if I run the slats for a month without cleaning them, when the slag builds up too much I just pull them and have the knock out guy beat the slag off and then they go right back in.

Did you get the different design of your slats from Mits, or did you come up with it yourself?? Would you be willing to share what they look like?

We clean ours off every couple of weeks too, but I've had slugs stick even right after we clean them.

They basicaly have half the teeth and are larger teeth spaced farther apart. I will try to post the DXF or a link to them on here today.
