Our company has a Mitsubishi ML 3020 LXP. While running a sheet of 11ga stainless still, the mounting ring to the head crack with a pop sound that sounded like a shotgun blast. My questions are; how could this have happened when all of the incoming gases to the machine are set to the correct PSI and does anyone know of an aftermarket dealer in cutting head structural components or a dealer in used parts. Any, and I mean ANY, help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

do you know the manufacturer of the cutting head? Laser Mechanisms makes a ton of high quality beam delivery and non contact heads. I never worked on a mitsubishi, pictures may help others who have. did you contact mitsubishi? a quote may yield enough info to look for cheaper vendor

UPDATE:
We welded the mounting ring back together and got it back cutting; however, we have to increase the gas pressure and slow down the cutting speed to get a decent cut. We have decided that a dent in one of the inner coupling rings caused high pressure N2 to seep past the head and put pressure on the mounting ring which we are pretty sure wasn't design to hold much pressure but just to mount the head to the focus lens assembly. We have had tthe laser of almost 2 years now and we finally "broke the camels back" yesterday.
