Hi Everyone,

I am trying to run a modal analysis on a 3D structure, however, when I refine my mesh I exceed the node limitation on the software (University edition). My model is symmetric about one axis, so is there a way to run a modal analysis on half the structure? Is this possible in dynamic simulations?

Thanks,

icefea

No problem, just put symmetry boundary conditions on the cut plane.
