modal analysis, filter bracket

Hi,
I'm trying to understand modal analysis. In my example I have a fuel filter bracket (flat plate, four holes to bolt on the engine and four holes for fuel filter). I won't to know what are the natural frequencies. Should I attach the filter to the bracket to get the real values? But what about hoses connected to the filter? I'm using Creo Simulate, but in the documentation there's a information that modal analysis can be only constrained or unconstrained but without loads. I need the analysis to know if the bracket will break under some engine RPM.

Hoses are tricky as they add point loads, mass, and damping. Ask you customer. If they don't know then ignore it but mention that you ignored hoses and fluid loading in your report.

Yes you will need to mount the bracket to the underlying structure for the frequencies to be meaningful.

Yes, you want a realistic model so will want the filter and hoses, and will need to know basic material properties, stiffness, etc.
