I would like to know how to model breaded metal hoses in Caesar II.
Thank you

You don't - CAESAR II models "pipes" using the "3D Beam" element. This element is not sufficient to model flexible hose. In addition, the stiffness of the hose is so much less than that of the pipe, the pipe sees the transition point as a free end.

carlino,
What is a "Breaded metal hose"? Something akin to a croissant?

Quite obviously a "Breaded metal hose" is a flanged baguette. No buttered welds premitted.

Man, I dough not know what you guys are talking about, but not sure I knead too anyway.

Real world knowledge doesn't fall out of the sky on a parachute, but rather is gained in small increments during moments of panic or curiosity.

pipesnpumps,
I just wanted to "raise" a question as I had not heard of a "Breaded Metal hose" and thought it may be similar to a "croissant" but C2it corrected my mistake and put me right with it being a Flanged baguette. It's always worth asking at "yeast" you get the right answer from somewhere!!
