model curves are created in referenced part instead of assembly (work part)

Upgraded to 1847 last weekend.

Some strange behavior here and there that we've had to deal with.

Here's one I haven't figured out yet:

When creating a model curve or point (assembly the work part), associativity on or off, if you reference a center of a hole on a part, that part becomes the work part and the curve is now in that part.

I fooled with some customer defaults under Curves/Curve Associativity but to no avail.

This is a new feature in NX 1847. Go to customer defaults, modeling, general there is a setting for Allow for automatic work part change. Just a quick thought.
 
Well yeah, enhancement like the NIce new Icons. It is one of those things I plan to turn off site wide. But still give users the option to turn it on.

Get used to that concept - seems to me that treasure/trash thing is a bonus Siemens included with the whole Continuous Release idea. Welcome to never ending Beta testing at your expense, it's the gift that keeps on giving!
