Dear friends, I am new in Biomechanics. I have created a 3D Geometry model from CT scan data. The sample is actually a link hip joint but in my computer model is a right hip joint (mirror symmetry). Is it usual or depends on the type of CT scan apparat.

Dear keith, thanks a lot for your reply, I have tried to create a model from CT data with Dicom format with Amira software. As I imported the data in software, there was a problem with reading the data and I have changed the Dicom data to raw data. The model which is created from raw data is not true (I have scanned a left hip joint but the computer model is right hip joint).
Is this failure because of changing the Dicom data to raw data or it is happened with Dicom format too?

Jalil
