Modeling bearings with COMBIN14

Hi all,

I'm working on a model of a headstock of a machine tool.I have modeled the shaft and the frame with hexahedral elements and would like to model the stiffness of the bearings with COMBIN14 springs. Does anybody now how could I place these elements so that I can represent the axial and radial stiffness of the bearings?
