Modeling Masonry walls using SAP2000

Can some PLEASE assist me in modeling a 3 storey masonry supported structure with precast slabs. It will be a simple rectangular structure, like a 5,2 x 4.0. Thank you

You should use shell elements and assign the corresponding material properties to the sections you will use.
You should also take care of the fact that the connection of the precast slab to the masonry should be modeled correctly.

Thank you John. Do you perhaps have papers/articles/books that you can recommend. I am a bit on the "old" side so therefore the learning curve is a bit slow. I have not really used SAP2000 yet. Do you have a few steps for me start off with? Sincere thank you

Dear Mishal .. I've faced the same problem before .. I found the best way with me is to represent the wall by many hinge supports under all sides of slab, and then sum all the reactions of the longest side and dived them by the its length to find the linear load applied on the brick wall and compare it with its allowable strength.
I've done this because i think that brick wall is made of different materials and it is complicated to model it by one material inside SAP.
