I'm using a StormTech chamber system for a stormwater detention system. My outlet pipe is connected at a chamber end cap. The question I have is, what is the best way to model the outlet in HydroCAD?

WHAT ARE THE inflow parameters?
precip, intensity, Tc, area, C,
size of system (Storage capacity) size and type of outlet?

diameter, length, elevations of storage tank, invert elevation?

Thanks Peter, I'll give that a try.

Hi Peter,
I used the culvert and ran some numbers - it looks good. Thanks again for your help, I really appreciate it.

I also put a culvert for my outlet device and it works great, but how can I slow the outlet rate down.

You could put an orifice plate over the culvert inlet: Assuming that device #1 is the culvert outlet, define the orifice as device #2, and set the orifice routing to Device #1.

See previous post for further details and illustrations.
