Hello,

Would I use the Slab line releases in SAFE to mimic how a steel beam would behave when reinforcing a two way slab. I am working on a project where they are creating large openings in an existing two way slab. I modeled beams framing out the openings with a similar stiffness as the steel beams. I want to make sure that SAFE isnt designing as if they were meshed together since the beams are butted against the slab not anchored. Want to make sure I have them modeled right so I can check the adjacent bays for increased moments since the openings are so large.
