Hi all,
I'm a new member of this forum.
My problem is that I'm trying to modelling an underground cavern group using ANSYS APDL starting from a BIM modeler. I'm able to import the IGS file with the geometry (volumes), but I encounter some problems:
My cavern complex is built in BIM using also a "box" representing the ground. How can I make the volumes (and so the mesh) communicate each other? Now I have only some independent volumes… It would be correct to use the boolean operation? If yes, how can I use them?
Thank you very much for the help!
