Hi,
I am trying to impose a sinusoidal displacement boundary condition in one edge of a plate.
But I am not able to do this ( an amateur User :-( )
I'd appreciate it if someone could help me.

Hi, PamCrash
it is an static simlation.
i want just see the deformation of a plate when 2 edges are free and 2 edges have deforming in a sinusodul
shape.

hi imanhaji

u can define the sinusoidal displacement by using amplitude (instead of ramp) in load definition. then just put u1=1 (if the displacement varies in x direction).

A variation in time with an amplitude won't help, since he is asking for a spatial variation.

When you define your model with CAE, you can do it with an analytical field. Got into the load module and select Tools->Analytical Field->Expression Field.

See CAE Users Manual 58. The Analytical Field toolset
