Hello all,

I have created a model and due to some reason I forgot to keep the scale to cm instead of mm's. I am sure this disuccsion would've been held before but I need to find a way that I update the scale without changing anything in the model. I mean 5mm to 5cm

Thanks,
Amer

You have it modeled at 5mm and it should be 5cm (50mm).
Select the model and Tranform-Scale by 10x.

Dear looslib

I tried to do it but I think I didnt provide with enoguh knowledge of what I have done. Actually a I have a 2D model with hundreds of tiny parts. Now all the parts are modelled in millimeters and I want them to be directly converted to cm's. the 5mm to cm was just an example of what I want. I saw that the unit manager does conver the units but the problem ther is that after changing mm to cm my 5mm becomes 0.5cms. Does you answer apply to this case.

Thanks

No, my answer will scale the file to the larger size, not just change the units.
In another thread it was mentioned that cm is not a size used by any standard for measurement of parts.
Why can't you use 50mm instead of 5cm?
