Modelling shear wall with moment resisting frames in SAP2000 using wide column method

Hello. I'm new here. I'm doing research using nonlinear static analysis, of 2D shear walls with moment resisting frames in SAP 2000. I'm reading a lot of literature about my methodology, which is to model them like wide columns with rigid beams.

What are the supposed nonlinear hinges that I should insert at the models? According to this study, shear walls can be modeled using a combination of "rigid" beams and mid-piers. The dimension of "rigid" beams are the shear wall's thickness as its thickness, and one-story height dimension as depth. The dimension of mid-piers are the shear wall's dimension too, so I assume thickness of the wall is the same as the mid-pier's, and its width is the same as the span width.

I have trouble adding nonlinear hinges. I tried adding M3 hinge at the "rigid" beams and model it like a beam, and P-M3 hinges were added at the mid-pier and modeled it like a column. However, it gives bad pushover curves (like it doesn't show hinge drops) something like that.

Anybody here knows how to do shear wall modelling using this method? I have a trouble doing this, I tried to contact the authors, however, they're not responding for like two weeks now. [mad]

Dear phildude2013,
Did you get the answer for the question? If yes, pls do share the here. I wanted to know how shear walls can be modeled as equivalent beam and incorporate non-linearity in same for carrying out pushover analysis in SAP2000? If you have any relevant document pls do share that too.
