I have not attended any of the University of Wisconsin courses, but I have heard good things about them. I took a web-based course from Gonzaga University that was pretty good. They have a good selection of 3-credit courses that run about $2500 each and I think they are all 8-weeks long. You can attend as a non-degree student or you can earn a Transmission and Distribution Certificate or Masters Degree. The courses are run by knowledgable instructors and you have a requirement to post answers to weekly questions and your encouraged to comment on other students posts each week. These courses are condensed, so you have to work to keep up, but you will learn good, practical information.
