Molded part design module

do the molded product modules for catia assist the designer with cavity creation, specifically adding shrink to the designed part? if so, which module(s) does that? it might be something we need to have in the future (where i work). thanks for any help.

well, i may have found my own solution. i found a module called "core and cavity design 2" for v5r20. but does anyone know if that is also available for v5r18? thanks again.

You can shrink the part in GSD (Generative Shape Design) for surfaces or PD (Part Design)for solids. If you have GSD not GS1 (Generative Shape 1) you can use the Multi Extract command and play with the continuity options and achieve and complimentary mode to split core and cavity. We have both modules here. CV2 is in R18.
