Rubber molds began sticking this week, when the hydraulic press lifts the top mold it lifts the bottom with it, and once the molds are separated the rubber parts are stuck in the top mold, despite having pneumatic ejector pins attempting to push them out.
We recently started mixing our demolding agent with water to reduce costs, and for a couple weeks it never seemed to make a difference. Would this dilution cause a sticking effect weeks after use?

Yes, it would likely cause release problems. Release agents are pretty dilute to begin with.

Okay, I will try pure release agent, the supplier was the one that mentioned it could be split 50/50 with water, maybe just for lower temp/lower pressure applications

On fresh molds, and when you start having release problems, it is important to clean the mold and apply several coats of release before molding. It is also important to follow the application instructions.
