moment curvature curve changes with meshing beam flange ?

I am working on steel bolted angles connection, my issue is when I mesh the flange thickness of the beam and column I got a very different curve from same model when the flange thickness not meshed

FE is very mesh dependent. From the pictures I'd say the 2nd mesh would give higher accuracy but that's just a qualitative assessment.
