I´m doing a preliminary heat load estimate for a large bank´s money counting room. They are planning to use some kind of industrial-sized counters which even use vertical tank air compressors for some purpose. Any idea on where to obtain info regarding heat output or cooling requirements for such equipment? Thank you

The manufacturer, or his equipment's manuals?

I would assume the electrical boys are hooking it up, worst case you use the breaker settings.

Thank you both for your answers.
There still no final selection of the counting equipment manufacturer. When you talk about breaker settings, is that used to calculate volt-amps and then get an approximate heat equivalent? Thank you.

No final selection does not mean that someone doesn't have some information. Whoever is making the selection should have datasheets for the equipment.

Yes, the wattage consumed by the machines is the internal load for HVAC purposes. The breaker setting may easily be 2x the actual continuous load, but it's a place to start.
