More problems with Smart fasteners (SF) 2

I am sorry for putting 3 separate posts but I find more problems with SF every passing hour.

This time, I have a thick disc with 2 holes in it on the periphery and the holes are at right angles to each other (i.e the axis of one hole is at right angle to that of the other hole). I inserted this disc into an assembly and added 4 more instances of this disc.

My objective is to put fasteners in all the 10 holes (5 discs X 2 holes/disc).

This is how I went about doing this: I selected one of the holes in the first disc and selected SF. And the problems I ran into are:

1. I did see 10 fasteners but 5 of them are in wrong orientation. In any given disc, one hole is at right anglle to the other. So should be the fasteners. But it seems that SF puts both the fasteners in a given disc in the same orientation, i.e concentric with the first hole. Now I tried to break the mates and manually mate the fasteners (which I shouldn't have to do if the feature is that smart, but I did it anyway). Even this didn't work, as both the fasteners move together and don't seem to have separate mates that I can control individually.

2. In this case, I wanted to put fasteners into all the instances so it's ok. How about if I wanted to put fasteners in only one instance and not in others?

I hope someone can help me out of this quagmire.

Yeah, I am using SW01+. I am unable to update it to 04 as that's what our company is using right now. Can someone help me with this?

Just to get pass this issue, what I would suggest is to delete the fasteners from the tree. Now reinsert one fastener at a time to each hole using mates.

Inserting fasteners individually into each hole is probably not worth it. If I had a few holes, I wouldn't mind it but for 30-40 holes, it would take me forever. I am not sure if it is a bug in the program or I have made the parts incorrect...
 
A possible workaround for the "thick disc" problem, is to make an assy of the disc with 2 individually placed fasteners mated in the holes. Then insert that as a sub-assy into the main assy. That will reduce number of instances of fasteners neede to be mated.

Use configurations of the disc assy, with either or both fasteners suppressed, if you need to have the disc with only one or no fasteners.

That is exactly the problem - whenever, I select one hole and try to insert fastener into that hole only, Smart Fasneters puts bolts into both the holes automatically PLUS the bolt in the second hole is in the same orientation as the one in the first hole (they should be at 90 degrees). Further, it seems that I can';t control the 2 bolts individually; if I break the mates of the bolt, both bolts move still together.
