Hello,
Every now and then I am forced to specify procurement details for PSVs and its piping hook-up in gas service.
Is there some simple purpose built software I can use to check sizing, inlet and outlet pressure drops?
For example, I many times got into the trap with my PED notified body who verify the PSV, saying that my inlet pressure drop is slightly above 3% because I have used some "sharp" fitting or some other detail that went wrong. Or that the PSV piping bransch is on the borderline too small to achieve the 3% pressure drop.
How can I spend 5-10 minutes on before hand and check all these details to ensure that all is OK and avoid future remarks from the notified body. Perhaps there is some excel sheet where I can enter x parameters and get OK or not OK? Or some simple PSV software that was created for this specific purpose?
