Is there a way to build an assembly model where you use constraints that allow for movement of the assembly and a function where you can grab a component and move it based on the constraints?
Example would be assembling two links together where one link is the ground and the other rotates about the pin connection. So you can manipulate the second pinned link by basically grabbing it and moving it about that pin all while maintaining predefined motion assembly constraints.
Any current or previous Creo/Pro-E users will know what I'm talking about. Does NX have a way to perform a similar function?
I tried using the motion application but its appears to be separate from the assembly application and requires very specific setups.
I basically just want an assembly that moves as it is assembled and can be manipulated by the click of a mouse.
Thanks!
