Hi

Can anyone help with reading motor data sheets:

under current (Amps) what does I(subsript N) and I(subscript s) stand for is it normal current (FLC) and starting current??

Any help will be appreciated.

Maybe, but they are usually listed as 'FLA'(Full Load Amperage) and 'LRC'(Locked Rotor Current). Perhaps you could give us some examples.
