Mounded LPG Bullet - Fire sizing of Relief Valve

Dear all,

I would like to know the basis for calculating the relieving capacity required for a Mounded LPG bullet designed for 15 bar. What would be the basis for the exposed area of the vessel for a Mounded bullet in a fire case scenario, where only the Nozzle dome is exposed out of the mound ?

I suggest you read API RP521, Section 3.15 and figure it out from there. I have used it before for fire sizing PRV and it is a good guide and an excellent document
