I am trying to work with a large assembly that was created from a scanned surface. When the assembly was created, the coordinate system chosen seems to have been totally random. Is there a way that I can move and rotate the assembly so that the x,y,z axes of the assembly align logically with the coordinate system? I have an origin, centerline plane, transverse plane, and ground plane in the assembly. How can I move the assembly to align these planes with the coordinate system? Thanks.

Another note:

When I try to move or rotate the assembly, I get the following error message:

"The selected component is fixed. It cannot be moved."

Thank you very much! I had been beating my head against the wall with this for a couple of days. Your suggestion worked great.
