Hi All,

How can I maintain contrains between part which I all together move to a new subassembly?

programs like Solidworks, Solidedge, Inventor will also move the constrains and in fact I like this verry much....

@NutAce,

I've quickly red the tread in the link but it lookes like it's a bit of topic.
I understand that when a part is moved to another to another level in an assembly, the constrains,which relate to the previous level are lost .

I don't want to move one part. I'd like to move two or more partst which have constrains to eachother. After moving this parts to another level or subassembly I'd still like to have these contrains between this parts....

I would suggest putting in an ER for this. Especially if other programs can do this, then this is the function NX is missing. I have had many users want this same function also. Of course they dislike the answer I give them on this one.

I also have many users asking for this functionality and even good old I-deas could do that but it wasn't so easy.
If you open an ER post the ER-number then we can add our ER to it and give it more weight.
