Hi,

I've just recently finished my mechanical engineering apprenticeship and have been offered a job in a production engineering environment manufacturing pumps.

I come from a University environment where I usually produce prototypes or small batch runs.

I'm just looking for some advice on working within a production workshop eg whats expected of me output/time wise as i expect it will be faster paced than what im used to.

Thanks

I don't think you will find the answer of what is expected from you on this forum. It's a question you have to ask to your boss. Usually a new hire coming from University is not expected to be at full speed right away.

I think this thread Link could give you some pointers.

Good luck!

Patrick
