Hi,
I'm working on a multiperforated plate with 5x5 holes. I have designed it with the origin of the coordinate system being in the center of a corner hole, and I would like to translate the model so that the origin of the coordinate system is in the center of the center hole of the plate.
To do that, I use the command agen with the last option set to 1.
Indeed, IMOVE=1 means that the original geometry is translated and not copied. Usually it works, but this time I have an error message telling me that one line is attached to an entity that is not to be moved, so the translation is not performed. I don't understand because I typed "allsel" juste before, so normally there is no entity that is not to be moved!
When I set IMOVE=0 (the geometry is copied, so in fine you have two geometries), it works...
Does somebody have an explanation please?
I'm trying to do this because I want to list all the nodes of the center hole and to sort them on angles, and to create a path that goes around the hole.
Thanks in advance!
JM
