Dears ,
it is my pleasure to be in touch with you ,
when you discuss about MTBF issue i notice that there is ways for calculation
First method
according heinz bloch :- relation to the no of installed equipment and put reference tables according this equation .
second method
according Mr. William E. Forsthoffer in his series of books (Forsthoffer's Rotating Equipment Handbooks ) calculate MTBF according running time of of each equipment .
MTBF = Total running time of equipment / no of Breakdown
i get two questions is as follows :-
1-1 is the results will be same for both methods ?
1-2 if i use Mr. William MTBF calculation method can i use the reference tables which put by heinz bloch in his books for comparison issue ? or there is another tables ?
Thank you in advance jentelmen For you clarification.
Best Regards
