MUD PACK CONNECTION

Can anyone explain what is mudpack connection as below drawing, I try to find it on google but nothing is there.

Can you give us a bit more of the drawing with the notes on the left and also an explanation of what the piece of pipework is, it's contents etc

Condensate is water or hydrocarbon?

Has this been built? DO you have a photo?

Which part is it actually pointing at?

What do those numbers mean?

Is it something to do with a mud drum on a steam boiler?

Well it comes after a stopple connection and a ??EQ connection so my guess is that it is a connection intended to insert "MUD" into the pipe.

Now given we don't know where this pipe goes, what sort of plant it is, have any details of the fluid, a P&ID or even all of the GA drawing it's not easy to add anything more I feel...

Dears,

the line is sour condensate hydrocarbon and the numbers he reflecting are tie-in numbers and our scope is hot tap and stopple connection inside the plant now designer reflecting mud pack which I don't know and also nothing is mentioned in notes.

It's a 6"blind flange. What's connected to it is some sort of filler by the look of it.

Your box obscures the end on the GA, but the pid shows a dome end?

So would appear to be something inert to fill the dead leg to stop it corroding. Maybe.
