Hi All,
I am new at this forum and I like to ask an advise about tools/techniques used in the management/coordination of a portfolio of projects.
the following information describe the real situation:
a company involved in both the manufacturing and construction sectors. They design, manufacture and install components for the facade industry. they work on a number of projects sumultaneously across the UK.
you can immagine that some resources (e.g design, production)are shared between all projects and need to plan their activities to serve all projects. in addition, there are many unexpected issues (material non ready for production, design change by contractor, etc.).
What would the best tool/technique be for managing project in such an environment.
