I was wondering what the general concensus is for lateral load consideration generated by cranes when you have a large two-span continuous frame with 2 different cranes in each of the bays. I find it highly improbable that the impact load from both cranes would ever be applied simultaneuosly, does this get addressed in any supplemental crane design guide? I've read 4th Edition Crane Supporting Steel Structures quickly and haven't been able to find anything. The lack of guidance from the letter of the code for NBCC2020 would suggest that they get applied together,

The snippet below is from a Crane Design Guide by CISC. The lateral side thrust is either 100% of one crane, or 50% of multiple. I've always limited it to 50% of two cranes; as you said, it's unlikely you'll be getting side thrust on a single column bay from that many cranes at one time. I think CMAA has something similar, but I don't have my copy of that readily available to confirm.
