I know we can override the default global options in each unit operation in aspen plus.

But I have to use regression in two of the property package. So as far as I know we can do regression in only principal property package. But I need in total three property package and and two regressed property package in same simulation.

Example My needed property packages are

UNIFAC (Contains Polar substance) in around Reactor

CPA (Need VLE regression for separation) In separation Section 1

ENRTL (Contain Ions and need VLE & LLE regression for separation) In separation Section 2

My separate simulations are ready but I don't know how to have them in the same simulation file.

Will, really appreciate your suggestions.

Hi, in my opinion, you can create a hierarchy and merge different simulation files into one

You can create hierarchy blocks and merge the flowsheets however care should be put on meeting the connectivity constraints of the blocks.

I am not familiar with all the options in Aspen however I know some software (for example my copy of Prode Properties) can store different data in each stream which means you can calculate and store different BIPs (or other parameters) in different streams,
then you can merge different streams as suggested by pmoneysh.
I presume UNIFAC doesn't require additional data while you may wish to add specific parameters for CPA and electrolyte models...

Thank you so much for your suggestion I am going to try them out.

Best,
